The North Carolina Science Museum was amazing. I was able to easily spend hours in the museum exploring everything it had to offer. When you first enter the museum you’re being introduced to nature. There’s a mixture of live and taxidermy animals with plenty of information to learn about.
What I really loved was the butterfly sanctuary. All of the museums I have been to charge you to enter those area’s but here it was free. It was a special sanctuary and I was grateful to be able to experience it. There were even live turtles in the exhibit which honestly caught most of my attention.
Overall I really enjoyed my experience here. Time seemed to run away from us and we were here for hours. There was even a cool little gift shop that we got some goodies for our loved ones at.
